The Guardian: Part 1

Maia gallantly walked into her accounting class.

As she sat beside her best friend, Laurel,

Maia kicked back in her college seat. She

threw her legs up, allowing her boots

to rest on the chair in front of her.

Maia found much confidence in her

tall, black, Ralph Lauren, rebel boots.

Her and Laurel were best friends.

They met through college by studying

the same major, Business. It was their

junior year together. They had big dreams

to open their own business.

Not only did they study together,

but they ate together and hit the

night clubs together on the weekends.

Laural and Maia got along very well.

They both had no morals and claimed

to not be religious. At school, they

had quite the reputation.

Professor Henry soon entered the room.

Then, the entire classroom grew quiet.

Professor Henry did not play around.

He gave Maia an intense look and

she quickly placed her boots back

to the ground.

Maia came from a broken

home, but she had a fear

of men. She had been abused

in her childhood. Things got

a little better when her father

was arrested.

The entrance door opened

not too long after the professor

entered. The girls began to

whisper amongst one another.

A very good looking young

man entered the room. He

was tall and muscular. He had

short blonde hair and bright

blue eyes. He was the typical

model.

He made his way towards

Maia and Laurel. Using his

hand, he asked through gesture

if he could sit close by. Of

course Maia smiled and

agreed.

Little did she know

how things were about

to change. Little did she

know, he was her guardian.
