Have you ever felt like
you lost yourself? Either after
a accident, death, loss of a friend
or after developing a sickness?

I did not know it was possible
to mourn for yourself. I always saw
grief as a means of suffering after loosing
someone you love. However, there is such
thing as health grief. I know because I
am grieving.
When you are struggling with your health,
certain situations can be temporary or
permanent My whole life I was very active,
strong and healthy. However, now I am not.
I mourn who I once was. It saddens me to
watch older videos of me running and laughing.
I do cherish these memories, but it grieves me
where I presently am. I hope one day I can
go back to being the girl I used to be.
