Have you ever had someone tell
you, you need to loosen up? Or
claim that you are no fun? On the
flip side, have you ever had someone
look at you shocked and say, I never
expected you to do that!

The truth to these claims are
they show true colors. Think about
the context as well as the speaker
behind these words.
Do they say you are no fun
because you decide not to go
out clubbing or sleeping around?
Do they tell you to loosen up
after stealing something small?
The truth is, if someone said this to
you, they either are jealous or just
flat out have no morals or standards.
This is where the line needs to be drawn.
Just because you dont cuss like everyone else,
nor ignore the road signs, nor drink does not
mean you are someone who does not know
how to have fun.
Many people in this life, cannot determine
the difference between having fun and
being thoughtless. Nobody is perfect.
We are all flawed whether or not
you want to admit it.
However, if you claim to be a follower
of Jesus, we ought to hold ourselves up
to a high standard. You can find amazing ways
and adventurous to really live and have fun.
Go to the Bahamas, swim with sharks,
sky dive, hike and camp mountains,
go see the Northern Lights. God is not
our enemy. He wants us to enjoy life
and live. He has created a world for us
to explore.
Just remember, often times
when people point out how boring
or strict you seem to hold yourself,
see that as a pat on the back. Not
everyone has the strength and
patience to contain morals
and standards.
