God Peace

Have you ever been in love?

I do not mean with a person.

I mean a place. Have you ever

visited somewhere and instantly

fall in love?

Have you been to a foreign place,

but feel as if it were home? Somewhere

full of awe and wonder. A place so beautiful,

you feel as if you are in a fairytale. A location

on the map where you

share history.

It is the place you call home.

You feel and see Him there.

Every morning you see the splendor

of God's hands.

When I look at the Virginia Mountains

I see God. I see His love, kindness, grace and

and creativity. I am constantly reminded

of answered prayers. It is the one place

on Earth where I feel I belong.

I am daily greeted by the

mountains that engulf me. It greets

me every day with a smile. I know the day

ahead of me is full of adventure and uncertainty.

When I look at the mountains, I see shared history.

Mountains that I have laughed on and cried on.

When I see the mountains flooded with the

green trees, I feel peace. I know God is omnipotent

and omnipresent, but here I feel Him the most.

There is something about Virginia that is so

special. I know I have found my God peace.
